Heather is a trained family mediator (Family Mediators Association - 1995) and family and marital therapist. She has worked with children and their families primarily in the family court proceedings since 1977. Heather is a qualified Social Worker, verified by the General Social Care Council. She therefore has had her background and qualifications and training checked and verified by the Police and the General Social Care Council.

Heather specialises in working with children of all ages and their parents/carers to promote better understanding of how a child might feel about the changes that might happen in their family life and how best to cope with the process of separation and divorce.

Fenella is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant, having worked as a Tax Manager for Price Bailey for 9 years.Fenella has experience in all areas of general taxation, acting as a tax consultant and advising clients on tax planning and consultancy assignments involving family companies, partnership and individuals.

Jane is a counsellor, executive coach and family consultant. She is a fully accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an associate member of the Association for Coaching.

Paul has over 23 years experience in the financial services sector. He holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate; this qualification includes what is known as G60 which qualifies him as a pension specialist.
This means that he is authorised by the FSA to advise clients on pension transfers. Most of Paul's time in the profession has been as an IFA, advising both private individuals as well as companies. This means that he has been able to apply his expertise to the real life situations that people face.
Paul is a Director of PB Financial Planning Ltd (the Financial Services arm of Price bailey Chartered Accountants); he is an active board member and Compliance Officer for the firm. Prior to joining Price Bailey he was for 13 years a Partner in a local IFA practice.

Throughout his career, Paul has been involved in helping to develop increased professionalism within Financial Services; recently he participated in an industry leaders think tank on two key topics.

Jeannette is a Tax Manager at PEM having joined in 2000 from Deloitte where she specialised in Corporate Tax advising small business and agricultural clients.Jeannette's experience has been of a general practice nature with periods spent in accounting, audit, taxation (including overseas taxation) and advising family businesses. The skills acquired from these areas have enabled Jeannette to specialise in Forensic Accounting and business valuation work providing joint and single expert witness advice on various litigation cases.

Through this work, PEM has been appointed the NIFA (National Institute of Forensic Accountants) representative in the region which covers Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk & Essex.

Two of Jeannette's specialist areas includes share and business valuations for matrimonial, partnership and shareholder disputes and advising on tax issues (including international issues).Jeannette has also dealt with a number of negligence and contract dispute cases and has been involved with various company purchases in respect of tax issues.

James Oram is a Chartered Financial Planner and independent provider of financial advisory services to private clients, non-profit organisations, professional practices and companies.

James Oram has been a financial adviser since 1996 and in 1999 became an independent financial adviser (IFA). Since then he has worked for both national and local firms including the financial services arm of two accountancy practices.

More recently he has served as a director of a trustee company specialising in the administration of self invested personal pensions (SIPP). He began specialising in pensions and personal financial planning in 2001.

James Oram is a Chartered Financial Planner with the Institute of Financial Planning as well as holding a Diploma from the Personal Finance Society including the G60 pension paper. Along with focusing on financial planning James Oram is registered with the FSA as a pensions transfer specialist. Lesley is an experienced counsellor (for individuals and couples) and a family consultant. She is a counsellor member of the UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (UKAHPP). She has trained as a Family Consultant in the Collaborative Law Process with the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). She is also trained in facilitation and mediation.

Lesley works with her clients to help them deal with the wide range of feelings often associated with divorce and separation e.g. loss, grief and anger. She provides a caring, understanding and supportive environment, in which clients can explore their personal, relationship and family concerns. She helps clients to cope with their emotions before, during and after the collaborative law process; enabling them to reach the best possible outcome for themselves and their families.

How can we help you?

Four of our highly experienced counsellors have been specifically trained to help clients who are going through the collaborative law process. If at any stage during the process, you feel that some support and counselling would help, either on an individual basis or as a couple, then one of our specialist Family Consultants can help.

Clients should self refer and mention collaborative law. To make an appointment or for further information please ring 01223 357424 during office hours.

Appointments which last one hour will be made at a mutually convenient time and the cost per session is £55 or £95 depending on how many Family Consultants are involved.
